The founder and director Hasan Tigli began his career in the stone industry in 1988, exporting marble to Japan. That same year, he established his first international venture, a stone warehouse business in the United States.

In 1994, he founded Metamar, establishing a production facility in Isparta, Turkey.

Today, Metamar operates 3 manufacturing factories and 11 owned quarries in Turkey and employs 1,600 people.

Its international presence includes showrooms and group companies operating across multiple countries.

Together with its family of companies and trusted partners, Metamar provides natural stone products and services for partial or full application, along with project management and architectural consultancy services.
